Making your home your Sanctuary

Over the past year we have been in and out of lockdowns and often confined to our homes. For many of us, this means we are looking for ways to turn our homes into a place we can both work and relax. Somewhere we can enjoy with our family or choose to have time alone to unwind.

Do you want to make your home your Sanctuary?

Over the past year, we have spoken with so many clients who want to make the most of their homes and the space they have available.

Whether it's creating an outside dining area that can be used all year round or redesigning rooms inside the home so you can find that all-important time to relax.

We have spoken with people that want to make a dedicated workspace away from the chaos of the home, and others who want to change the look and layout of their kitchens so that it can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Our homes are more important than ever and there has never been a better time to turn yours into your sanctuary.

Alfresco Dining & Bespoke Stone Firepits

One of our favourite projects last year was creating an outside dining area for one of our clients. They wanted a bespoke stone dining table that would look beautiful, but also withstand the elements. They also wanted an Oven top for their BBQ and Pizza Oven. It was such a pleasure to help to design and fit these bespoke elements so they could enjoy their outside space with family & friends.

When building an outside dining area, there are ways this can be adapted so that you can use the space all year round. One of these ways is to incorporate a bespoke stone firepit. Not only will this look fantastic, it will also provide light and heat so your garden or patio can be enjoyed throughout the colder months.

Quartz Desk & Office Surfaces

With many of us working from home, it has become increasingly important to have a dedicated workspace. During the first lockdown, many of us were working from laptops in shared spaces, but this is not sustainable over a long period of time. Many of us may never go back to working full time in an office, so making a place where you can work from home, comfortably and free from distractions is key to managing your home/work balance.

Quartz is a fantastic material for use in an office, it is incredibly strong and hygienic and it is available in so many different colours and patterns. We have an influx of enquiries for Quartz Desks & Office Surfaces from people who want to set up a place they can work that is both beautiful and practical.

Marble Kitchen Worktops & Islands

The kitchen is the heart of the home, it is often where the family sit and eat, it's where we cook with our children or drink prosecco over zoom with our friends. With so many of us spending more time in our homes, we often find ourselves in the kitchen, rediscovering the joy of cooking and preparing freshly made meals.

Marble is a commonly requested Material for the kitchen, it creates a feeling of opulence and style. Many of our clients dream of an open kitchen, with lots of space, beautiful Marble worktops and a Marble Kitchen Island. It's always a joy to design and build these beautiful spaces that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Bespoke Stone Bathrooms

The bathroom is one of the most important spaces in the home. It is a place to relax and unwind at the end of a long day and many people are choosing to transform theirs with bespoke stone. There are so many ways to do this, from vanity worktops and stone walls to complete bath surrounds and bespoke sinks.

Adding stone to your bathroom can create that luxurious spa-like feeling, your very own space where you can retreat and recuperate away from the stress of the home.
