How long from template to fitting - 5 - 10 working days

Is 20mm or 30mm stone best - Quartz is strong enough in 20mm; 30mm is best for Granite surfaces.

What’s the difference between quartz and granite - Granite is mother nature, mined and cut into slabs. Quartz is 94% natural quartz that’s crushed and mixed with colour and resin and manufactured into slabs.

What’s Dekton or Lapitec - These are sintered stone which means they are fused and compressed under high pressure and heat to create a solid slab material.

Is 30mm too heavy for the units - No, there is enough support on the carcasses, and we will double check when we template.

Can I put hot things on the surfaces - Dekton and Lapitec are sintered stone and can withstand high temperatures. Whilst quartz is better than wood or laminate in this regard, we always suggest using a trivet.

Can I use the off cuts – yes and no. The piece that is cut out for the sink doesn’t come out in one piece, but we can make a chopping board from any available off cuts at a cost of £70.00.

Are the joins visible - they aren’t invisible but will be done very sympathetically with matching colour epoxy resin and sanded down, so they are flat. The join will usually be in the region of 1mm wide.

Do you recommend drainer grooves - yes, they provide an area for draining glasses, or other items that can’t be placed in the dishwasher, and prevent water running onto the floor from the sink. We make ours at a gradient so they’re not just for show, they actually work!

Do you recommend an Upstand – Yes, visually they finish off the worktop and provide protection to the wall.
