Quartz Worktops and Countertops
Quartz is the strongest material available in our range. It is incredibly hygienic and non-porous which makes it ideal for use in a kitchen or bathroom. Because of this, it is highly resistant to staining when compared with other stone surfaces.
We supply and install a vast range of quartz worktops and countertops from all the main manufactures in a multitude of colours. There is no substitute for seeing the real thing so after browsing through the images below, please feel free to arrange a visit to our showroom to take a look at our quartz worktop samples.
What is Quartz?
Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the Earth’s continental crust, after feldspar, and its unique properties make it one of the most useful natural substances. There are many different varieties of quartz, several of which are semi-precious gemstones. In Europe and the Middle East, varieties of quartz have been some of the most commonly used minerals in the making of jewellery and hardstone carvings.
We also have Ceramic which is made from raw materials of Quartz, Porcelain and Glass which is fused and compressed under high pressure to create a slab that is very dense and compact. This comes in a number of different finishes and styles, from industrial looking, aged stainless steel to wood and intense metallic shades.
It is highly scratch and stain resistant, resistant to fire and it has virtually zero water absorption.
Our Ceramic is available in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 20mm and 30mm and all of the brands offer a great variety of colours, textures and styles. Ceramic is great for indoor and outdoor kitchens, bathrooms, stairs, and terrace floors.
