The staircase was originally made in orange glass which had worn badly and lost its shine.
Some of the steps were replaced with orange painted wood giving an irregular appearance. Our client WFC - The Leisure Industry Specialists commissioned us to create a beautiful strong Quartz staircase to replace the old one.
WFC are an award-winning fit-out contractor specialising in the UK leisure industry and we are proud to have worked with them since 2013.
Their organisation has a 40-year track record of delivering high quality Main Contractors and Project Management services for leading leisure industry brands, from one-off projects through to national rollouts.
A black and white, hard-wearing quartz was chosen to compliment the main dining area chequered flooring.
We templated, fabricated and fitted risers and treads made from 12mm and 20mm quartz slabs.
We worked during the day when the restaurant was closed to ensure minimum disruption to the client.
Anti-slip stainless steel strips were inserted into the treads of each step which married together with the stainless-steel handrail and wall art.
