Novo Design are a driven and enthusiastic design company who specialise in the residential and hospitality sectors. They approached us as they were looking for a skilled and knowledgeable stone fabrication company who could provide a complete service for their bespoke projects.
We arranged a viewing at Stone World London for our client so that they could take the time to look at all their options and choose suitable materials for the kitchen and fireplace.
We advised on the type, size and suitability of each material preference. The client looked at a variety of different slabs and chose specific ones that had the colour and patterning desired. They decided on 20mm and 30mm Dover White Quartzite for the kitchen surfaces and Arabescato 20mm Corchia marble for the fireplace. We reserved 8 slabs for these projects.
The design consultation then continued for the island mitred edge waterfall panels, utility room worktops, the splashback, and the fireplace design. Our lead designer submitted several proposed drawings, in order to achieve the exact specification required. Collaboration on the art deco style fireplace resulted in a beautiful focal point for the lounge.
The stonemason’s skill came into play when working with this unique material, involving vein matching the Dover Quartzite on the waterfall panels and creating an overall stunning aesthetic.
The fabrication was completed within a tight time frame, and all stone expertly fitted in 2 days. Novo then completed the finishing touches, ready for their client to move into this beautiful home for Christmas.
