How to use a Semi-Precious Stone Surface

Semi-Precious Stone Surfaces

Semi-Precious stone surfaces always look spectacular. They pick up light due to the uneven textures naturally occurring in the surface of the stone and they vary greatly in colour and form.

Backlit Stone Features

Because of the texture and form of these semi-precious stone surfaces, many of these can be backlit to create a feature of your surfaces. From a feature wall to the front of a bar, there are so many ways you can use a backlit wall of stone to create an artistic feature in your space. We work with you to design and create the desired effect to suit the project you are building.

Spas, Hotels and Bars

We design and manage large-scale projects for luxury interiors. We understand that you want your commercial space to stand out and we will work with you to design the right look for you. If you are designing a bespoke spa you may want to opt for a light coloured stone with soft lighting to create a clean, light space, whereas a cocktail bar may call for a golden stone with warm lighting filtering through. Whatever the project, get in touch to see what we can do to help you create your ideal space.

Colour and Texture

Because these surfaces are created by nature, no two surfaces are ever the same. Some are flecked with fossils and others contain stones in different shades of colour, this means that the light passing through will naturally diffuse differently across the surface should you wish to add backlighting. We have a wide range of colours and textures for you to choose from.
